WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!

Kathy Maguire and Cathy Chumley

Traveling has been a passion of ours for many years.   Well over 20 years, we both have been hiking and exploring many areas across Canada, United States, South America, and Europe.  Hiking has been the cornerstone of our travels, enabling us to experience the people, the quaint local areas and villages, and take in the great beauty of these areas one step at a time. 

Our bucket list is huge and we have been able to reach some of them which you can visit on our "bucket list" tab and read about them on "our blog" tab.

We have covered many destinations and loved them all as they all had their own uniqueness and challenges.  We are especially fond of the Himalayas in Nepal and have been able to visit twice, once to Everest Base Camp and secondly to another park within Nepal, along the Annapurna Mountains.  We plan on returning again to Nepal at some point in the future.  Our trek up and summiting Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, Africa was also special as it was our highest climb yet, reaching over 19,340 feet.
